ZTE’s Blade series have acquired a decent share in the mobile segment, and the company has debuted two Blade smartphones at the MWC 2016 last month. Now, ZTE has announced a budget smartphone called the Blade D2 for the Vietnam market with a price tag of VND 2,690,000 that coverts to RS, 8,100 at the current exchange rates. As of now, the phone is available in Vietnam only, but there is no word on when the phone would cross the borders of the country.
As for specifications, the handset features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution IPS display, a MediaTek MTK6735P processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage, 5-megapixels on the back, 2-megapixels at the front, and a 4000mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the smartphone supports 4G LTE (with Indian Band), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and Micro-USB connectivity. The handset measures 144×69.5x8mm and weighs 155 grams.
ZTE launched its Blade V7 and Blade V7 Lite smartphones at the Mobile Congress World trade show 2016. The company also announced its new Android-based Spro Plus ‘smart projector’ alongside the smartphones.
