Vaio backed by Sony, the brand best known for its laptop lineup, has launched a second smartphone, dubbed Phone Biz. The device is powered by Windows 10 mobile and packs in powerful hardware. The smartphone will retail at $430 (approx. Rs. 29,000) when it goes on sale in Japan next month. There’s no word on when it will be available outside Japan.
Spec-wise, you’ll get a 5.5 inch full HD 1080p display, a 1.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 617SoC, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt memory, a microSD expansion of up to 64GB, a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The smartphone supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and other standard connectivity features. There’s a 2,800mAh battery as well.
Also, the smartphone will support Continuum that let users connect the smartphone with a TV, large display or monitor and use it as a computer. The device will be only available in Silver color.
