T-Mobile has announced a new Windows 10 based smartphone – the Fierce XL at CES this year. T-Mobile stores sometime in the first quarter. Yes, you’re right, the company still wants to roll out the windows phone under the same name that was launched a couple of months ago, but running on Android. T-Mobile has partnered with Alcatel OneTouch, Fierce XL is their first device.
Typically, the new phone carries the same specs of the Android version, though it comes with all goodies like office, Cortana and more. As far specs, you’ll get a 5.5-inch 720p display, Qualcomm’s quad-core 1.1GHz Snapdragon 210 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, microSD expansion of up to 32GB, a 2,500mAh battery, Cat 4 LTE and VoLTE. It boasts 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 2-meagapixels on the front. The company isn’t talking pricing just yet, but the new phone will be hitting the T-Mobile store in first quarter.
