Samsung has added a new color to its successful Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. The phones are originally available in Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, White Pearl, and Silver Titanium until now, and you get another choice of color, the Pink Gold.
However, the smartphones will have the same specifications. The Indian bound Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 8890 SoC instead of the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset seen in the global variant. Other specs are identical to the global variant.
Samsung in a blog post says the Pink Gold colour variants of the Galaxy S7 handsets will debut in its home turf South Korea on Wednesday, and will soon be reaching other markets as well. “Pink Gold was chosen as it, like the other colours available for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, is a natural colour that provides a sense of comfort. These hues glitter and shimmer as if illuminated from inside their glass surfaces,” says the firm.
Both the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge were launched in India in March 2016. Samsung introduced the the Galaxy S7 at a price of Rs 48,900 while the S7 edge was priced at Rs 56,900 for the 32GB handset.
