Apple today launched two new iPhones – iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The highlight of the phone is its camera. Lets check out the features of the new 12-megapixel camera.

First Look at Apple iPhone 7 Camera

The new iPhone 7 camera is the new12-megapixel camera with f/1.8 six-element wider lens that is 50% lighter than the iPhone 6s’ f/2.2 lens. The new 12-megapixel camera is 60% faster and 30% more efficient than the iPhone 6s camera unit. The optical image stabilization in iPhone 7 ensures to click a perfect shot even with shaky hands.

The new iPhone 7 camera is accompanied with a new flash module. The flash system has also been redesigned to a Quad-LED True Tone flash that puts 50% more light on the image. The new flicker sensor removes the artificial lighting from photos and videos in order to deliver true candid moments.

The new 12-megapixel camera in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is powered by Apple designed image signal processor (ISP). The ISP accompanied with A10 fusion chip pledges to deliver unique image quality that’s twice the through put of iPhone 6 and 6s Plus. Apple says that ISP performs over 100 billion operations to enhance the quality of the photos every time you click a picture, that too, in 25 milliseconds.

You’ll be able to edit Live photos in real time, one of the most beautiful features in iPhones, as soon as you finish off.

On the front, the new iPhone 7 sports a 7-megapixel FaceTime HD camera. It is up from 5-megapixels in iPhone 6s Plus. The front sensor includes new pixel technology called the Deep Trench Isolation for sharper images with tight packed pixels. It also captures wide color images and has auto image stabilization feature as well.
