MS Dhoni is a selfless person, and there’s a lot struggles behind the person we see now, as one of the richest sportsperson in India. Directed by Neeraj Pandey and produced by Fox Star Studious, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story has done good business to the stakeholders.
It’s a biographical movie that shows the real life incidents of MS Dhoni. The movie shows how he became a successful cricketer, the hardships and struggles in his early life, selfless support from his friends and family, and a lot more. However, Neeraj Pandey has intentionally avoided some of the controversial characters and life events of MS Dhoni in the biopic.
Why The Untold Story didn’t reveal about Narendra Singh Dhoni
MS Dhoni: The Untold Story movie has runtime of 3 hours and 10 minutes and of course, everything can’t be shown in a 3 hours plus movie, but the director should have shown most important aspects of his life. The movie failed to reveal about his elder brother, Narendra Singh Dhoni, who is a politician in Ranchi and has two children. The movie tells about his sister Jayanti Gupta and why it didn’t mention even his name in the movie.
The movie opens with World Cup 2011 final match between India and Sri Lanka and at the end India wins the World Cup aided by MS Dhoni. In between, the movie deals with the flashback of Mahi.
Also, the movie didn’t show much of the controversies between him and BCCI. It’s a huge politics which apparently can’t be portrayed in a single movie. The movie failed to capture how he was selected as the captain of the team.
However, thanks to the director for making this wonderful film. Ms Dhoni has a huge fan base, and this movie will help them to reach heights as he succeeded in his personal life.
