The Ghazi Attack Movie Review: Celebs Take on India’s First War At Sea Film

The highly anticipated naval war film ‘The Ghazi Attack’ is all set to hit the screens this Friday (February 17, 2017) and the team Ghazi held a special screening of the movie for Tollywood celebrities today at Prasad’s Lab in Hyderabad. Film fraternities and industry personalities watched the movie as a part of the movie promotion where they screen special premieres to film fraternities at several places. Celebs have lauded Rana Daggubati for his terrific performance saying he has taken Telugu cinema to next level.

The Ghazi Attack, the first war at sea film of Indian cinemas, is based on the true incidents of 1971 Indo-Pak war. Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, Sumanth, Varun Tej, Krish Jagarlamudi, and Nikhil Siddhartha were among other film fraternities who watched the movie and praised Rana for his dedication and performance in the movie. It’s is a historical war genre which will bring the past onto the screens when PNS Ghazi, a Pakistani submarine, was sent to Indian shores to destroy INS Vikrant, the only aircraft carrier India had in 1970s, which was intervened by Indian submarine S21 and end the fate of PNS Ghazi off the cost of Visakhapatnam.

Directed by Sankalp Reddy and jointly produced by PVP Cinemas and Matinee Entertainments, the film has Rana Daggubati,Taapsee Pannu , Kay Kay Menon and Atul Kulkarni in the lead roles. The film is set for worldwide release in Hindi this Friday which is also releasing in dubbed version of Tamil and Telugu. Rana’s fans were overwhelmed about the release of the film which is expected to get bog opening in Telugu States and Tamil Nadu. The film releases as Ghazi in Tamil and Telugu.
