Digitally Rendered Rajinikanth’s Baasha Movie Releases on December 12

Rajinikanth’s Baasha: It’s been more than two decades since the release of Superstar Rajinikanth’s evergreen epic blockbuster movie ‘Baasha’. Baasha is the most watchable film on TV till this date.There are several people out there longing to watch the movie on big screens because of the magic that it has created inside everyone. The wait is over. Yes, those who are eagerly waiting to watch the film on silver screens; you can make it on December 12th.

To pay tribute to the actor, the original film has been digitized and remastered with 5.1 digital surround sound and will be re-released on the 12th of December, on the occasion of Rajinikanth’s birthday.

Directed by Suresh Krishna and produced by V. Thamilazhagan and V. Rajammal under Sathya Movies banner, Baasha is an action thriller film.The film has Rajinikanth and Nagma playing the lead roles while Raghuvaran, Janagaraj and Vijayakumar playing supporting roles.

The film is a huge trendsetter in the 90s and the movie became very popular among auto drivers overnight as Rajinikanth played a role of the auto driver.This film was the first of a few films celebrated by all fans and the jaw dropping flashback was the highlight of the film.

Baasha was released on 12th January 1955 and ran for a whopping 368 days. The film made record collections at the time and that was the turning point for the actor. He rose to fame overnight across the nation.
