Showtime Renews Billions For A Third Season

Billions Season 3: Showtime has finally renewed Billions for a brand new season. With just three episodes aired till now in the second season of Billions, the announcement come as a surprise for the series fans. The series was profoundly applauded by the fans which have so far earned 4.4 million views with positive reviews. There has been a huge fan following in just year of the airing of the season 1.

Billions is an American Television drama series made by Brian Koppelman, David Levien, and Andrew Ross Sorkin, loosely based on the activities of crusading federal prosecutor of financial crimes Preet Bharara, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and his legal battles with hedge fund manager Steve Cohen of SAC Capital. Starring Damian Lewis, Paul Giamatti, Maggie Siff and Malin Akerman, the series debuted on January 17, 2016 with overwhelmed rating for Showtime and the second season premiered on February 19, 2017.

The site’s critical consensus reads, “Despite a lack of likable characters, Billions’ soapy melodrama and larger-than-life canvas offer plenty of repeat viewing potential. The Billions Season 3 is likely to premiere in early 2018.
