Nagabharanam Movie Review: Nagabharanam is the Telugu version of the Kannada movie ‘Nagarahavu’ directed by Rohith Kannan and Kodi Ramakrishna. The director Kodi Ramakrishna is maing his Kannafa debut with this movie who has already helmed Arundathi and Amman Tamil movies.
The film has the deceased legendary actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan who is making his comeback in the movie with the help of VFX. The makers of the movie have shelled Rs. 15 crore for his recreation alone. His character and visuals have created huge anticipation since the news was out.
The film was partly shot in Abhiman studios and partly in Mysuru for the period look with the palace. The visual effects are given by Makuta VFX with over hundred of artists working for the visual effects.

Nagabharanam Movie Story and Analysis
The film starts with a flashback character called Naganika (Ramya) who is a big personality in her city. She and her forefathers have been saving an ancient monument since many 100s of years. Evil Tantrik Kapali (Rajesh Vivek Upadhayay) and his forefathers have been fighting with Naganika’s family since many years to occupy this Lord Shiva Monument.
This time, Kapali kills Naganika and occupies the monument. While dying she takes an oath that she will come back to take revenge by Kapali. In the next birth, Naganika takes birth as Manasa, a snake woman to take revenge.
Kodi Ramakrishna, the director of the film, said that, “This is a film where a girl takes revenge in her reincarnation. The story revolves around 120-foot snake of Lord Shiva. The film features nearly one hour of high-end computer graphics and my producers spent over Rs 20 crore on the VFX alone where the total Budget of the film is 40 crores.”
Audiences were excited on seeing the legendary actor Vishnuvardhan on big screens again, thanks to the makers of the film. The highlight of the film is the VFX and Ramya. Artists in the film have done theor justice to their roles.
