Mammotty Thoppil Joppan Movie Review: Thoppil Joppan is a comedy entertainer starring Mammotty in the lead role. The movie is all set for a grand release on October 7. The movie will clash with Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan at the box office.

After a long gap, Mollywood will see two legends movies – Mammotty’s Thoppil Joppan and Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan clashing at the box office. Both movies already have received good response from movie buffs and audience right from teaser to trailer to audio release.

Directed by Johny Antony, Thoppil Joppan has Mammotty in the titular role. Besides Mammotty, the movie has an ensemble of case including Andrea Jeremiah, Mamta Mohandas, Saju Navodaya, Jude Anthany Joseph, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Salim Kumar, Harisree Ashokan, Renji Panicker, Alancier Lay, and others.

Thoppil Joppan Story Synopsis

Thoppil Joppan deals with a story of a sportsperson who is obsessed with alcohol consumption. As Thoppil Joppan, Mammotty plays the role of a kabbadi player, who is an outstanding perfectionist in Sports and has won several games in his early life.

The movie carries a slogan “50% love and 50% Alcohol.” We can split the movie into different segments. The movie portrays the young life of Thoppil Joppan and his romance with Andrea as Annie and it tells about the Kabbadi player’s different stages of life.

Billed as comedy entertainer, Thoppil Joppan has a lot of realistic comedy scenes in the movie that might hurt your stomach. The love scenes in the movie will melt you making you longing for your loved one.

The major locations for the film are Kottayam, Thopramkudy, Pala, Thodupuzha, Ernakulam and Vagamon.
