Karnataka people have been reporting for a long time that theatres and multiplexes were charging high prices for cinema tickets and the issues will be soon resolved. The state government is in talks with the theatre owners association to reduce the ticket prices to Rs. 200 which will likely be implemented from May.
As per sources, the government chaired by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will issue orders in this regard to fix the movie ticket price to Rs. 200. The new order will come into effect from May. It seems that the multiplex owners aren’t happy with the government’s decision.
When asked about that CM said that they have to follow the orders once it is implemented. Action will be taken on those who fail to follow the orders, added the CM. Movie goers have appreciated and welcomed the decision which is a big relief for them.
