KIK Postponed: Gv Prakash’s upcoming and latest romantic comedy flick ‘Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru’ (in short KIK) was originally slated to hit the screens last week. Due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement of demonetization of higher denomination currency notes, the release has been postponed to November 17, that’s tomorrow. And, the movie posters have also confirmed the same.
It is, however, the release of the film is yet again postponed to November 18th. KIK will be releasing this Friday weekend which will be clashing with Anjukku Onnu. Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru will be this week’s monopoly at the Kollywood box office.
Directed by Rajesh which is an expert in slapstick comedy genre, and produced by T Siva of Amma Creations, KIK features G. V. Prakash Kumar, Nikki Galrani and Anandhi in the lead roles alongside Prakash Raj, RJ Balaji, Robi Shankar, and Thambi Ramaiah among others playing supporting roles.
Music and background score for the film has been scored by G. V. Prakash Kumar, Sakthi Saravanan is the cinematographer and Vivek Harshan is the Editor of this film.
The trailer of the film was well received among movie buffs and that created a huge anticipation for the movie. Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru is the first film for G. V. Prakash Kumar to be certified with U certificate.
The catch in the movie is that director of the movie Rajesh has said that will no drinking scenes in the movie as his movies usually used to have loads of liquor consumption scenes.
