GV Prakash, who is currently basking in the success of his movies, has become a hero not only in reel life but also in real life by raising his voice for social issues. The actor is very busy in tight schedules with back to back movies due for release, and we have learnt that he will be teaming up with Pandiraj’s former associate director Vallikanth for his first rural based comic drama.
It seems Pandiraj was very much impressed with the script and he himself produces the movie apart from penning the dialogues. When Vallikanth narrated his hilarious experience at his friend’s marriage, Pandiraj immediately asked him to develop a story based on this plot. The film is titled Sema, the word that is commonly used among Tamils, which is expected to turn out to a complete fun enthralling entertainer.
Sema features GV Prakash playing the lead, who also renders soundtrack and score for the movie. Debutant Arthana Vijayakumar, the daughter of Malayalam acor Vijayakumar, will be playing the female lead. It has comedian Yogi Babu along with an ensemble of cast, including Kovai Sarala, Mansoor Ali Khan among others. Debutant Jana plays the lead villain in this film.
The team has been shooting for the film for the past couple of months in Chennai and Trichy and they are about to complete the shoot in a couple of weeks. The makers of the film are planning to release the movie in May. Stay tuned for more updates.
