The first trailer for Fox X-Men inspired series The Gifted arrives

Fox today launched the first trailer for its drama series The Gifted, based on Marvel’s X-Men film series, created by Matt Nix and directed by Bryan Singer.

Fox has launched the first full-trailer for its drama series The Gifted, based on Marvel’s X-Men film series. The TV series is created by Matt Nix, who also serves as the executive producer and showrunner, directed by Bryan Singer and is produced by 20th Century Fox Television alongside Marvel Television.

The Gifted throws light on the Strucker family (Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker), whose lives gets more complicated on learning their children (Lauren and Andy) possesses mutant powers and they go on the run from the government in order to survive. The series also features some X-Men characters.

The Gifted Synopsis

“Family adventure series THE GIFTED, from 20th Century Fox Television in association with Marvel Television, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.”

Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Coby Bell, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford, Natalie Alyn Lind, and Percy Hynes White co-star in the series, which has Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory as executive producers.
