Bollywood Box Office: Highest Opening Weekend of All Time – Dangal at No. 5
Last Friday, we saw the most anticipated and hyped Hindi sports biopic film, Dangal which opened to geed reviews from audiences as well as critics. The film released worldwide in more than 5000 screens, in which domestic saw 4300 screen and 1000 screens at overseas.
Dangal is one of the quickest films to enter 100 crore club and managed to take the fifth position on the list of All Time Highest Opening Weekend Movies. The film collected around 106.95 crore (net) in domestic circuits. In worldwide box office, the film grossed around 210 crore (149 crore gross domestic + 61 crore overseas).

Dangal is an inspiration biopic of Mahavir Singh Phogat and his two daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari. The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari starring Aamir Kahn, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Zaira Wasim and Sakshi Tanwar in the lead roles. Dangal means Wrestling competition in Hindi.
