Owing to theatre strike in Kerala, Vijay’s Bairavaa saw only a limited release in the state with releasing only in 235 screens. The film was released in government theatres, multiplexes and B-class theatres. As the theatre strike comes to an end, the film sees a massive bump in screens count and will be hitting A-class theatres from today.
Ifar International the distributor of Bairavaa in Kerala has confirmed earlier today that the number of screens have increased from 235 to 302, a massive win for the film. He took it to twitter and tweeted, “#Bairavaa advanced to 302 screens in Kerala from today. A massive win. Updated theater list will be published at noon.”
Bairavaa saw huge drop in theatre occupancy on its second day when compared to the first day. As per insiders, the film has got a massive response on its third day with a massive bump in occupancy rate. It is said it will increased in the coming days.
Bairavaa is an action masala entertainer featuring Vijay and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles alongside Jagapathi Babu, Daniel Balaji among others. Directed by Barathan, the film was produced by Vijaya Productions.
