13 Years of Nayanism
It’s been 13 years, the gorgeous lady of South Indian cinema Nayanthara who forayed into acting making her debut in the 2003 Malayalam film Manassinakkare. She is having a successful carrier in South Indian languages films where she made her debut in Tamil and Telugu in Ayya (2005) and Laksmi (2006), respectively.
I’m just wondering how this beautiful actor was in her early stage and how she has turned into a leading actor in South Indian cinema, where directors and producers hunting for her for their movies. She has delivered a number of successful films till now.
The 32-year-old Nayanthara is the lady superstar, shaped her acting and looking for movies with female-oriented scripts. In these 13 years of Nayanism, we have been to lots of rumours, gossips about the actor, who is currently dating Vignesh Shivan of Naanum Rowday Thaan fame. She was most criticized at the time of her living relationship with Prabhu Deva and she apparently ended her relationship in 2012.
Born in a Malayali orthodox Christian family as Diana Mariam Kurian on 18 November 1984, she got a catch name Nayanthara in industry. She did her graduate in English Literature and got into acting after the director of Sathyan Anthikkad was impressed with her modeling assignments. She got the star fame after Billa movie. Born as Christian, she converted into Hindu in 2011 to marry Prabhu Deva.
Nayanthara is the highest paid actress in South Indian cinema with remuneration of about 4 crore per film. She has won several awards including Kalaimamani Awards, IIFA Utsavam Awards, Filmfare Awards, Nandi Awards, Asianet Film Awarda, Vijay Awards and Edison Awards among others.
The actor is best known for her portrayal in Chandramukhi (2005), Dubai Seenu (2007), Tulasi (2007), Billa (2007), Yaaradi Nee Mohini (2008), Aadhavan (2009), Adhurs (2010), Simha (2010), Boss Engira Bhaskaran (2010), Sri Rama Rajyam (2011), Raja Rani (2013), Arrambam (2013), Thani Oruvan (2015), Maya (2015), Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (2015), Babu Bangaram (2016) and Iru Mugan (2016).
