The MPV is taller, wider and longer than the outgoing model, however, retains the same wheelbase of 2750mm.
The MPV gets new grille with two elegant chrome slats, revamped projector headlamps with DRLs, new bumper, and newly designed fog lamp unit.On the rear profile, the MPV gets a pair of redesigned tail lamps and the side profiles have seen some changes as well.
Getting inside the cabin, the new Innova has all the bells and whistles, including but limited to a 7-inch infotainment system, premium upholstery, separate AC vents for the second and third row, and much more. It gets three airbags and ABS with EBD as standard across all the trims. The Crysta is available in a total of 10 trims including both manual and automatic transmissions (G, Gx, Vx, and Zx). It comes with a choice of two diesel powertrains – a 2.4-litre GD, VNT Intercooler and a 2.8-litre GD.
The former is good for 147 bhp of power and 343Nm of torque that is paired with only a 5-speed manual transmission with a claimed fuel efficiency of 15.10kmpl. The 2.8-litre engine produces 174.5bhp and 360Nm of torque, clubbed with 6-speed automatic transmission. The latter is rated to deliver a fuel efficiency of 14.29kmpl while the new diesel engines are 10 percent more fuel efficient than the old model.
