Buy New Hero Achiever 150 with i3s technology at Rs 61800

The home grown bike manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has launched a new commuter motorcycle tagged the brand new Hero Achiever 150. The Achiever 150 will set you back by Rs. 61,800 for the drum brake and spending an additional Rs. 1000 will get you a disc brake model.

The Hero Achiever 150 is the second outing of the total 15 launches planned before April 2017 by the company. The motorcycle is powered by a 149.2cc, air cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder that is good for 13.4bhp at 8000rpm and 12.8Nm at 5000rpm.

The Hero Achiever 150 is BS-IV complaint and is powered by i3S (Idle Start-Stop System) technology that puts off the engine when idle. The new technology was first seen on the Splendor iSmart which helps to save fuel by switching off the engine automatically when the engine goes idle.

The new Achiever 150 can accelerate from standstill to 60kmpl in just 5 seconds. The braking power is supported by a 240nm disc at the front and a 130nm drum at the back. The motorcycle weighs in at 139ks at no fuel inside and has a fuel capacity of 13 liters.

Apart from i3s technology, the new Hero Achiever 150 features include a new instrument cluster with side stand indicator, tubeless-tyres and automatic headlamp on (AHO). The bike will be available in , Panther Black metallic, Candy blazing red and Ebony grey metallic.

Also, Hero MotoCorp is celebrating its 70 million sales with the launch of the new Achiever 150 which will have a limited edition of Achiever 150 with tri-colour graphics on the base white shade. Only 70 units will be sold.
