If you’d like to buy a brand new Baleno, you’ve to wait nearly for six months, as the waiting period for the hatchback has gone up due to the huge demand from the international markets.
The current booking status of the hatchback has reached the 70,000 mark, as the car is being produced only at the Indian facilities.
The car is exported to over 100 European markets and the car is the first from the company lineup to get exported to Japan from India.
To recall, the Baleno was launched in India back in October last year for a starting price of Rs. 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Baleno is offered in both petrol and diesel options, which is mated through a standard five-speed manual transmission, while the former gets an optional CVT automatic gearbox.
